...On Poetry and Fiction - Just "One Word" Away (Stars)

One word becomes one idea, becomes one sentence, becomes one poem, becomes one story. It must start from just “one word”. Today my one word is “Stars”.

                                                                    STARS

Ever study the stars in the evening sky? Some twinkle, some not so much. Others sparkle as bright as diamonds. They are alive and beg to speak with us. We all know it is our greatest desire to wish upon a star and have all our dreams come true. We may focus our eyes upon that one special star, and hope for answers about love and life. We beg for more detailed information, so we can walk away feeling enlightened and empowered to make the wisest decisions. If you watch closely, every star will speak to you through morse code or through a living heartbeat. They will reveal clues to your deepest curiosities through every twinkle. Absorb their rhythm, read their sparkle, and decipher their wondrous code. Remain alert to their magic, and try not to blink - or you will miss one great celestial conversation of a lifetime.

STARS

Some twinkle, some not
Some sparkle bright hot
To wish upon a star
On celestial bodies from afar
To make all dreams come true
To welcome life anew
Where lovers seek answers
from mysteries of the sky,
begging for more details
about the who, the what, the why
The stars retort through morse code
and through the evening glow
As the moon ignites their spirit -
their words an even flow
Each twinkle like a heartbeat
Every message has a clue
Don’t blink, my friend
Remain alert!
Charmed stars will speak to you!
