"THE WHITE ROBE OF NOELLE"
fell softly as cashmere wool
danced lightly as the finest lace
and settled upon the quaint town
of Christmas old and new
Noelle fluttered down the street
Leaving a path of richness behind
A path as elegant as a bride’s train
as majestic as a Queen’s gown
as crisp as a winter’s morn
She visited every home
Leaving a spray of her fluffy handprint
on every windowpane she passed
Sometimes a child would wave back
while she blew snowflakes like kisses
The church bells rang proudly
as she tapped each stain-glassed window
and listened while the carolers sang out to her
They greeted her in yuletide glory
Feeling blessed by The White Robe of Noelle
She entered the park with a cool breeze in her step
Landing on wooden park benches
Decorating huge leafless trees
Sprinkling birds in flight with white magic
as the rabbits and squirrels watched in awe
Then something enchanting happened –
The White Robe of Noelle
blanketed a young couple in a horse-drawn carriage
who giggled and hugged at the sight of her snow dance
as they embraced pure romance from the lovely Noelle
Oh Yes, Sweet Noelle has returned once more
She delivered her gifts in the very shadows of the Season
All that she touched awakened anew
She turned darkness into light and stone into gold
as the World welcomed the beautiful Noelle
…and The White Robe of Noelle
fell softly as cashmere wool
danced lightly as the finest lace
and settled upon the quaint town
of Christmas old and new
